Recently at Easystore HQ we spent some time looking at different examples of infographics in the storage industry. If you’re unfamiliar with infographics, they’re a great way to show information and data in a visual (and often entertaining) format. So we thought that it’d be a good idea to share our three favourite storage infographics from our search…

1. Storage 101 – a Guide to Self Storage

This is a really handy infographic if you’re new to the world of self storage, acting as a ten-question FAQ. It covers all sorts, including topics such as climate control, insurance and security. If you want to understand some of the more basic and common info surrounding storage then this should be helpful.

2. Storage Tetris

This video game-themed infographic not only looks great, it contains some great information as well. While the top half is quite US-centric, the ‘Space Saving Tips and Strategies’ section near the bottom is a very handy resource no matter where you live. If you’re about to move your possessions into a self storage unit then it’s worth taking a look and seeing if you can utilise a tip or two.

If you’re a fan of Breaking Bad then you’ll love this infographic. In the final season, Walt’s wife Skyler hires a storage unit. In this infographic, they have tried to predict how much money was stashed inside the unit, what other items were also stored there, where the storage facility was likely to have been located and how much it would’ve cost the Whites to rent out on a monthly basis.

Just a heads-up: in many storage facilities (including ours), it is against the rules to store cash in a unit. So don’t be getting any ideas now…
